And Now For Something Completely Different;
Lebensweisheitspielerei brings you the best of pop programming: two music videos by Eric Wareheim [of Adult Swim's "Tim and Eric's Awesome Show (Great Job!)"] (yes, recommended).

[FYI: for my own sake, I suppose I ought to put in a quick word of warning: "Awesome Show" is not for the squeamish (non-desensitized) viewer [you know who you are]. It can be uncomfortable to watch; however, it can also be awesomely brilliant, even (or especially) at its most cringe inducing. Most of the content parodies current TV culture / aesthetics, from “low” (Public Access television, infomercials) to “high” (reality shows, toy commercials, news, etc)–with the “message” seeming to be that the weirdness on display is simply decontextualized normality: glitzy, vomitous poison distilled out of the media many of us eat, breath, and sleep. And yes, this is the oldest trick in the book, but these guys do it extremely well, with a minimum of callousness and a maximum of humanity.]
Anyway (بہر حال): All this to say that Eric (and Tim; but I think I like Eric [or at least his on-screen persona] better) is my new fav. (my “new squeeze,” some might say)–and you should check out the series if you are so inclined. So much for that: now sit back and enjoy the (charming, comparatively understated) videos.
